About me

My first contact with counseling was as a client many years ago. It was the experience of a secure therapeutic relationship that facilitated healing for me and that sparked my curiosity to become a psychologist myself. I perceive it as a privilege to accompany my clients for parts of their lives’ journeys. Through the eyes of each of my clients, I learn new aspects about life, the world, our shared human existence, and relationships – the very fabric that connects us to ourselves, others, society, and humanity as a whole.

I grew up in Central Europe with multiple relocations throughout childhood and adolescence, and during my adult years I have studied and lived in Germany, South Africa, and Kenya.

This mobility across cultures has equipped me with unique experiences that have made me particularly empathic in supporting people in global transitions or intercultural relationships.

Humour and playfulness are important ingredients to life for me! In my freetime, I enjoy motorcycling and rollerblading, a good laugh with a friend, and hanging out at music gigs.
