This is different for every client. The amount of sessions needed for the change you desire depends on many different factors, such as the topics you want to work on, the pace that feels comfortable for you, the time your body and mind need to integrate changes, and the frequency of sessions. 

The ultimate goal of counseling is that you won’t need counseling anymore! In our first session, we will jointly set counseling goals that we’ll regularly review to assess your desired outcomes of our work.

Typically, sessions happen weekly or bi-weekly. I often recommend weekly sessions for the first 2-3 months to build a solid foundation and effect visible change. We then review your counseling goals/intentions, which we define in our first session, and then jointly decide which frequency will be best for you to continue with.

The fee for an individual counselling session (50 minutes) is 100€ and for a couples counseling session (75 minutes) is 160€. I also offer session packages at the following fees: For individual sessions, a 5-session package is 450€, and a 10-session package is 800€ (50 minutes per session respectively); for couples sessions a 5-session package is 720€ (75 minutes per session respectively). All prices listed are exclusive of VAT, which is charged at 19%. Sessions booked in a package are valid for six months. I offer a limited number of discounted slots for full-time students and unemployed persons upon request slots for full-time students and unemployed persons upon request.

I typically apply the following modalities: Psychodynamic approaches, counseling methods leaning on emotionally focused therapy (EFT), imaginative methods (as part of EFT counseling methods and inner child work), cognitive behavioural methods, and compassionate/non-violent communication (NVC).
